As local Telos Betans, noticing a durth of third spaces for our fellow citizens, we’ve blended the cultures of these two planets at Cargo Cult. Telos Beta’s endemic flavors, such as the daloobi fruit, come together for the perfect menu to refuel after a long journey through the portal. Our refreshments also pair well with entertainment imported directly from earth: tabletop games. Telos Betans love these earthly hobbies more than we love our squeebles!

It’s a term from earth which refers to a religious movement primarily found on the islands of Melanesia. Those in these movements, like the John Frum cargo cult in vanuatu, believe material wealth will be delivered to them as a result of rituals. The term was adopted by tabletop gamers to refer to developers imitating successful game mechanics without understanding what made them work.
